Oriental Love

Happy Tuesday, I'm in a very chirpy mood today, probably because the pay day splurge treats have been arriving in the post one by one. It always makes my day when the door knocks and the postman has his arms full of parcels for me!

Speaking of which I took my new kimono by Love for a spin. Well actually I haven't taken it off since it arrived! The Flowing kimono achieves the perfect hybrid between elegance and ease, whether you're going for the colourful, hippy vibe or chic and modern look, you can work this trend any day.

I love wearing my kimono, its brilliant to throw over and dress up any outfit. It protects my arms from the lower temperatures but also keep me cool in the heat. This one by Love is great, it's a lovely combination of colour that brightens up anything. Kimono's are a fab must have! And this oriental print 

is super pretty! 

Underneath I paired some customised Levi shorts with a basic white vest for a casual summer look. I haven't had a chance to wear these shorts yet, so as the sun was shining today I thought they would look great under the Kimono. Denim cut off shorts have got to be the most comfortable but trendy wardrobe essential. They're brilliant for a laid back look perfect for chilling out on a long summer day, but can also be smartened up with a blazer and heels or brogues. These shorts are by Daisy Chain Vintage and I love them! They create customised vintage Levis shorts. Designs include dip dyed, tie dyed, studded, distressed and frayed.
